Skype for Business and Lync users

From a Microsoft client use the following video address based on your conference code:

<conference-access-code>@vmr.vc

Note: The user's Lync / Skype for Business account must allow external dialing ('Federation'); For more details see:

http://visitec.freshdesk.com/solution/articles/1000181332-how-do-i-federate-lync-skype-for-business-to-vnetcall-videxio

Be sure that the caller is actually connecting via 'Skype for Business' and not 'Teams'.  Microsoft is moving Skype for Business users to Teams and Teams DOES NOT SUPPORT EXTERNAL CALLING.  This is a Microsoft decision, all calls must 'meet' in a Teams Meeting Room.

Pexip offers an optional paid service that allows standards based video devices to connect to a specific Teams environment (the enterprise that controls the Teams account must subscribe to this service).

Consumer Skype Users

While calling from Consumer Skype is not a feature of the service, connections are sometimes possible as long as the caller has their consumer Skype account linked to a Microsoft account.  Due to continual changes in the clients we cannot guarantee operation of this functionality.
